This lovely classic, Clipper Heritage 34, offered now for sale, was delivered new in December 2007, has now done only around 1,058 hrs.
Her careful owner (only the third owner from new) is moving on to a new season in life, having enjoyed this reliable and economical family cruiser for over 8 years.
"Lazy Maru" has all of the standard inclusions that Clippers are renown for such as: Onan generator with reverse cycle air conditioning, ultra leather lounges, beautiful teak interior, a full complement of Raymarine electronics, including colour plotter/GPS/fish finder with optional auto pilot, bow thruster, Convection Microwave, a Two Burner, Tudor TMG Gas Cooktop, Muir Auto Anchor controls with chain counters and much more.
She is powered by a single 230hp QSB Cummins electronic diesel engine and has Morse electronic single lever controls. AC power (240v) comes from an onboard 4kw Onan generator, or from 15amp shore power. There is also a Vetus (12v electric) Bow Thruster, to assist with docking.
She has a good sized aft cockpit and has a comfortable cruise speed of 8 to 9 knots, whilst burning an average of only 15 to 20 lts /hr.
Add to this, all of the renowned Clipper features such as, covered walk around decks, side door to the lower helm, two helm stations, opening saloon windows with insect screens, reverse cycle airconditioning, a large usable flybridge, excellent sea keeping ability, reliability and economy.
In addition, she has a wide range of extras, including:- stainless steel dinghy cradle complete with Sunbrella sunshade over the cockpit deck, a 200kg lift ADC 12v electric davit, 2.7m Grand RIB with 8hp 2 stroke Mercury outboard, a dinghy cover, full fly bridge cover, three sided fly bridge clears, main deck windscreen cover, 2 x E80 Raymarine Plotter screens. This really does make her a very attractive package.
