2006 Mustang 3800 Sportcruiser

The Mustang 3800 has to be one of the biggest selling sports cruisers produced in Australia for Australian conditions. They are extremely popular as a family cruiser and make a fantastic entertaining vessel with plenty of seating and deck space along with a spacious interior with two cabins, loads of headroom and luxurious finishes. This 2006 example has the highly regarded twin IPS400 Volvo Penta Diesels with Joystick Control for easy handling. The large amounts of power can push this vessel up to speeds of 30 knots and it cruises economically at around 22 knots. Onboard systems are powered by a 6Kva Kohler generator and the air-conditioned interior has two large cabins, both with queen sized beds as well as a convertible dinette and large single. The galley is complete with an electric cooktop, microwave and refrigeration. The Teak swim platform has a stainless fish rail with Magma BBQ and the storage garage comes in very handy. Overall presentation is great with new canopies, clears and upholstery. Major servicing and antifouling was completed at the start of 2026 and this vessel operates beautifully with smooth gear shifts and excellent response from the electric throttles as well as easy manoeuvring with the bow thruster.
