Grand Boats Make Waves with Standout SCIBS Debut
Grand Boats Australia has marked a major milestone with a strong showing at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), where the European RIB and tender brand drew significant attention and achieved impressive sales.
With 12 models on display, the showcase highlighted Grand’s hallmark blend of European design and advanced hull technology — from compact tenders to the flagship G750 and G850 models.
“Our debut at SCIBS exceeded our expectations in every way,” said Dan Arscott, Managing Director at Grand Boats Australia. “From day one of the show, our team received overwhelmingly positive feedback on the design, layout and – most importantly – the quality of our boats, which really distinguishes our range in the market.”
Both new customers and returning owners took interest, with strong sales across categories including the G340, S470, and mid-size RIBs. Among favourites were the G850, noted for its spacious layout and twin-engine power, and the G680, which stood out with sleek design and features.
“These sales included a mix of new customers to the brand and returning owners upgrading their models,” Dan added. “It’s always incredibly rewarding to hear directly from owners about what they love about their boats and what keeps them coming back to Grand.”
The SCIBS appearance follows the company’s local launch in July 2024, led by Dan and Carly Arscott after a decade of success with the Grand brand in the UK.
“We’re thrilled with the reception of the brand so far – not just at the show but throughout Australia,” Dan said. “It’s been a fantastic first year, and we’re very excited for what’s ahead.”
Following SCIBS, additional sales and sea trials have already been confirmed. Next stop: the 2025 Sydney Boat Show, 14–17 August at Sydney Showground.
