Horizon Power Catamarans Showcases Portuguese Deck at 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
The 66th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) will once again deliver a world-class celebration of yachting, and Horizon Power Catamarans is set to make waves with a major showcase of its latest layouts.
From October 29 to November 2, 2025, Horizon will exhibit two standout models — a new PC60 and a new PC68 — both featuring the highly requested Portuguese Deck configuration. The company will also reveal the first-ever wheelchair-accessible layout drawings for the PC68, debuting at its stand on the Face Dock, Slip 608.
PC68: Spacious Luxury with a Portuguese Deck
The PC68 continues to impress with its balance of generous deck space and a manageable LOA. With a 24ft 6in beam, the yacht offers expansive alfresco dining on the aft deck, leading seamlessly into a main salon with a starboard-side galley, center island, and a forward port lounge.
This show model features an On-Deck Master stateroom, forward on the main deck with panoramic windows. The ensuite, located in the port hull, includes dual vanities and sits alongside a convertible twin cabin. The starboard hull accommodates a VIP king ensuite and another convertible twin cabin.
Above, the semi-enclosed flybridge showcases Horizon’s creativity, with twin helm chairs, shaded lounge and dining spaces, and a dayhead. Aft, the boat deck houses the tender, bar and grill station, while forward, the Portuguese Deck creates a flexible retreat for lounging, dining, or sunbathing.

Powered by twin MAN i6 850hp engines, the PC68 delivers a cruising range of 1,850nm at 9 knots.
PC60: Debut of a New Layout
Making its public debut at FLIBS is the latest PC60, the second hull to feature the Portuguese Deck. Staying true to Horizon’s design ethos of maximising deck use, this model offers a semi-enclosed flybridge with a port-side bar, starboard dinette, and a dayhead aft.
The Portuguese Deck arrangement places helm chairs and a navigation station to port with a passenger settee to starboard, leaving a central passageway forward. With the tender launched, the boat deck transforms into an open-air entertainment or relaxation area.
The PC60 is a four-stateroom yacht, with the display model showcasing the optional On-Deck Master stateroom. Additional cabins include an ensuite queen and twin in the starboard hull, and in the port hull, a master ensuite with dual vanities and a convertible twin ensuite.
Custom Interiors & Advanced Systems

The interior of the PC60 highlights the breadth of semi-custom options available to owners, from woodwork and stone finishes to bespoke soft furnishings, all guided by The Powercat Company’s in-house design team. The main salon flows from an aft deck with a built-in settee and dining table into a lounge with an L-shaped sofa and a fully equipped galley and bar.
Both the PC60 and PC68 are fitted with Horizon’s advanced power package:
- A Victron phosphate battery system paired with a Termodinamica variable-speed air conditioning system.
- Delivers 20 hours of cooling and dehumidification on battery power alone.
- Cuts generator usage significantly with an 84% boost in energy efficiency.
- Includes smart monitoring and automatic generator start/stop functions.
This package comes standard across the Horizon Power Catamaran range, underlining Horizon’s commitment to energy efficiency and onboard comfort.
