AUSTRALIA’S latest, and brightest, spot on the water market is now open with Only Boats launching its watercraft marketplace at this month’s Sanctuary Cove.

Only Boats offers private sellers of any boat or marine product a listing for only $9.90 — compared with up to $100 at other sites — which is extremely good value.

Already, Only Boats has more than 300 boats for sale and it’s building so quickly that it expects to have 1000 listings within a few weeks. The boat show features more than 300 exhibitors and showcases more than 740 boats and over 2500 marine products that this year are expected to attract more than 47,000 visitors.

The show, on May 23 to May 26, is not just a display of boats. Organiser Mulpha Events’ general manager Johan Hasser said its “where the marine business does business.”

Some of the world’s foremost marine manufacturers choose the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) to launch their new products, with the announcement of many brands and models never before seen in Australia.Horizon FD80This year, boats shown for the first time include Horizon Yachts’ FD80 — a boat that balances style and space with super yacht amenities.

Horizon said that it has sold more boats in southeast Queensland than in any other state and that it sells more at SCIBS than at any other show.

Boat dealer Wynnum Marine will debut two new boat brands to the Australian market, the Kingfisher Powercat and the Tamarin boat range.

Wynnum Marine principal Jonny Milton said SCIBS was the perfect setting to show to be able to launch these boats.

“You get so many people through the door and such a large range of customers,” he said.

“Last year we showcased the smaller Kingfisher boats and we’re really happy with the follow up in sales enquiries.”

On show is the 6m+ Kingfisher Powercats boasting superior stability, a wide beam and flat casting decks that means owners can fish from all corners.

Also on display will be the Tamarin 63 Daycruiser that combines first-class handling with carefree recreation and a modern appearance, and the durable and stylish Cross 62BR with features and an excellent layout to create a new kind of luxury and ease for family boating.
