2002 Riviera 37 Flybridge Platinum

Arguably one of Australia’s most iconic and popular models, the acclaimed Riviera 37 Flybridge. This particular 37 is the sort after “Platinum” variant, named True Blue, which has benefited from regular maintenance and upgrades throughout its life. 

 

True Blue’s spacious cockpit is the first of many highlights, elevated to a truly luxurious state through the addition of teak cap rails, a live bait tank, blue accent deck lighting and, in the centre, a beautifully varnished collapsible teak table sitting on a removable pedestal. As with all Riviera 37’s of this shape, the cockpit floor allows access to an enormous lazarette for a vessel of this size. Forward of the lazarette and under the staircase to the flybridge sits an enormous icebox and entry to the engine room, housing twin Cummins 330hp Diesel motors driven directly through shafts. Above sits the saloon which has hugely benefited from new smooth black leather upholstery, accompanied by like-new carpet and teak cabinetry. As we pass the galley, fitted with all the mod cons you’d expect, into the accommodation in the bow. A generous double bed sits in the forepeak, while to starboard features a buck cabin with an enlarged bottom bunk, allowing True Blue to sleep 7 with the inclusion of a convertible berth in the saloon. To port you’ll find a generous head and separate shower. The flybridge has been no stranger to an overhaul of upgraded electronics, fitted with Simrad’s latest technology, including two new plotters, autopilot unit and VHF. Thanks to True Blue’s new electronics, re-trimmed helm seats and flybridge lounge, the upper level is a very comfortable space to spend time with a clear view through the well-presented acrylic clears.
